The Vest ❤️ Pattern The filarino pattern knitted with circular needles
Project Description.
The vest is a bottom-up construction, so from the bottom up, and is made with circular needles in the “round” up to the sleeve shim, after which it will be worked “flat.”
The stitch used is Shaved Knit for the body, and Ribbed Knit for the edges.
It presents a characteristic shape because it has a longer back while the shorter front, we will make it using shortened needles.
Techniques used: shortened irons, circular irons with bottom-up construction
It is an ideal model for an intermediate level.
Yarn used:
The Vest was made by working together Bulky coarse yarn in particular we used: Eden by Manifattura Sesia (30% Cashmere, 70% Virgin Wool, 25 gr/ 75 mt) and Vivienne ( 70% Silk, 30% Mohair 25 gr/ 210 mt).
Metrics used for sizes: 550 mt (S) 675 (M) 825 (L)
Points used:
Shaved Knit: if worked in circular always straight, if worked flat 1 iron straight, 1 iron reverse
Ribbed knitting: 1 knit straight, 1 knit inside out
